
Sumner Pomeroy
Sumner Pomeroy serves as Program Manager for Clean Cities Georgia, hosted at Southface Institute, to advance clean transportation solutions throughout the state. She serves as a connector for grant opportunities, provides education related to electric vehicles and other alternative fuels, and strives towards equitable outcomes that promote clean air for all. Sumner is a native to Atlanta and has a Master of Environmental Planning and Design from University of Georgia.
Through her past roles, she has over ten years of experience with nonprofit project and program management. She previously worked as a Program Manager for Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful to coordinate volunteer programs focused on litter reduction, clean streams, and recycling. More recently, she served as the Program Coordinator for UGA’s Small Business Development Center: Multicultural Business Division to assist women-owned and minority-owned small businesses with procurement related concerns.
